At UTC 20:30, Kathmandu (UTC+05:45) is already at 02:15 the next day. “Previous / same / next day” compares the city’s date with the UTC date shown above, not your device’s today.
Some places change their clocks seasonally. The offset shown here belongs to the selected date, not today’s offset. The browser applies the IANA rules for that city; this tool does not guess whether daylight saving is active.
In New York, 2026-03-08 jumps from 01:59:59 to 03:00:00. On 2026-11-01, 01:30 happens twice: 05:30 UTC has offset −04:00; 06:30 UTC has offset −05:00. Entering UTC identifies one instant unambiguously. City-local input is not supported.
This is a planning aid, not an independently synchronized time service. Keep your device clock and browser current and verify critical appointments with the destination. Historical and future rules can change. Searches and conversions stay in this page; no location permission or account is needed. Nothing is saved.
