IDEAFACTORY / IMAGE TOOLS
Keep the picture.
Cover the private bits.
Names, addresses, account details: draw a cover where it belongs, check every image, and save a flattened PNG. You decide what needs hiding.
This is a manual tool. It does not find faces, text or sensitive information automatically. You must cover every private area and review every image. No tool can guarantee that an image is safe to share.

0Files are checked individually. Unreviewed images block ZIP export unless you explicitly exclude them.

Draw rectangles directly on the image. You can also add and edit them using source-pixel coordinates.
The preview shows the same mask pixels used in PNG export. Selection borders and handles are editing guides and are not exported. At 100%, scroll to inspect the entire image.
The selected style applies to all regions on this image. Solid covers are fully opaque. For confidential information, use solid covers and leave a small margin around every detail.
Mosaic provides weaker privacy: patterns and details can remain recognizable. Use solid covers for confidential information.
Covered areas
No covered areas yet.
Coordinates use the image after orientation correction. Drag a box to move it or its corner handles to resize. Numeric fields provide a keyboard alternative.
Copy regions to matching images
Choose targets explicitly. Only exactly matching oriented pixel width and height are eligible. Copy replaces target regions, keeps target cover settings, and clears their review. Similar proportions are not enough.
No matching images.
Inspect the whole image at 100%. Any region or setting change clears this confirmation.
Each included image must have at least one cover and a fresh review. Images without covers are never exported as originals.
ZIP includes PNGs and manifest.json with neutral output names and processing status. Original filenames are not included. Failed exports block the ZIP; try individual downloads if needed.
Before you share the result
What should I cover?
Cover all information you do not want to share, including reflections, small text, barcodes, QR codes and details near the image edges. This tool does not detect private information or decide what is sensitive. Leave a margin around each detail and check the whole image, not only the selected areas.
Is mosaic as strong as a solid cover?
No. Mosaic is a visual effect with weaker privacy; recognizable patterns or information may remain. Use fully opaque solid covers for confidential details. Even a solid cover cannot protect details you missed or information someone can infer from the rest of the image.
What is actually downloaded?
Every download is a newly encoded, flattened PNG at the image’s orientation-corrected pixel dimensions. Covered source pixels are replaced in the exported raster. Original image bytes, editable mask layers and source EXIF are not included. The output is restricted to essential PNG image chunks; browser encoding can still affect colors.
Why must I review every image?
A copied rectangle may cover the wrong content even when two images have the same dimensions. Review is per image and is cleared by region edits, settings changes, copying, undo and redo. ZIP export is blocked by unreviewed images or images with no regions unless you explicitly exclude or remove those files.
Do my images leave my browser?
Image checking, preview rendering, PNG encoding and ZIP creation happen in this browser tab. The tool does not upload your images. No processing history is saved by the tool. Clear all releases selected files and editing history; closing the tab also ends the session. Files you download remain wherever your browser saves them.
Which images can I use?
JPG, PNG and static WebP are supported. Animated WebP, APNG, GIF, SVG and HEIC are not accepted. Import up to 30 files, no larger than 20 MiB each or 100 MiB combined. Each image is limited to 25 megapixels and 32,768 pixels per edge. PNG output can be larger than the source; total retained PNG output is limited to 100 MiB.
